This course develops skills in unpacking established goals (or standards) for learner learning and provides strategies for back mapping from those desired outcomes to a sequence of instructional units that will allow learners to attain those goals. Critiques of existing scope and sequences in state documents and textbooks and appropriate adaptations and elaborations will be an integral component of this course.
